Where We Run

Crews across the Front Range.

Denver metro, the foothills, and the south suburbs. Every city handles bulk trash differently, and the differences are bigger than people expect — so every page below carries the verified facts for that city, with the source linked.

Most Front Range cities don't pick up your couch. Several don't pick up anything.

Denver runs a large-item pickup on a long cycle with a five-item cap. Golden includes one free item a year. Wheat Ridge takes one item from the first 190 households that register. Lakewood, Littleton, Centennial, Parker, and Castle Rock don't provide residential trash service at all. And every one of those programs stops at the curb — none of them carries anything out of your house. That gap is the job.

Denver

City and County of Denver · 5,280 ft

Denver does run a Large Item Pickup, but it's on a nine-week cycle, capped at five items, curbside only, and it won't take appliances, electronics, or remodel debris.

Every 9 weeks · 5 items

Lakewood

Jefferson County · 5,656 ft

Lakewood doesn't provide trash service and doesn't run a bulk pickup program. Whatever your private hauler won't take is entirely your problem to solve.

No city program

Arvada

Jefferson & Adams Counties · 5,525 ft

Arvada's bulk pickup exists, but it's prepaid, curbside by 7 a.m., and excludes electronics, Freon appliances, tires, glass, exercise equipment, and construction debris.

On-call · prepaid

Wheat Ridge

Jefferson County · 5,348 ft

Wheat Ridge is a limited-service city. Its Large Item Pick-up is one item per address, capped at the first 190 households to register, once a year.

1 item · 190 spots a year

Golden

Jefferson County · 5,784 ft

Golden's contracted hauler includes one free large item pickup per household per year. The published exclusion list is long — concrete, dirt, rock, brick, tires, electronics, Freon appliances.

1 free item a year

Littleton

Arapahoe County · ≈5,400 ft

Littleton provides no trash hauling or recycling and doesn't endorse haulers. There's no city bulk pickup — the only seasonal collection is fall leaf recycling.

No city program

Centennial

Arapahoe County · ≈5,700 ft

Centennial provides no trash, water, or sewer service. Private haulers run their own schedules, and there's no city bulk pickup to fall back on.

No city program

Parker

Douglas County · ≈5,900 ft

The Town of Parker states that trash disposal and recycling are not Town services. No municipal bulk pickup — it's your hauler, your HOA, or a crew.

No Town program

Castle Rock

Douglas County · 6,224 ft

Castle Rock doesn't provide trash or recycling and runs no bulk pickup. The Town publishes a clean-up resources page pointing residents to private haulers.

No Town program

Boulder

Boulder County · ≈5,400 ft

Boulder requires every property to have trash, recycling, and compost service — but the city doesn't haul it. There's no city bulk pickup program.
